Skin Analysis

  • We use a specialised machine to take photos of the skin to assess the condition of a person's skin and to create personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients about their skin conditions.

    Some of the functions are:

UV Photography: To capture images of the skin's surface and underlying layers. This can reveal sun damage, such as hyperpigmentation and sunspots, which may not be visible to the naked eye.

Visible Light Photography: In addition to UV images, this takes standard visible light photographs to assess skin texture, wrinkles, fine lines, and overall complexion.

Multi-Spectral Imaging: The machine uses multi-spectral imaging to capture images in different light wavelengths, allowing for an in-depth analysis of various skin concerns, including redness, pigmentation irregularities, and vascular conditions.

Pore Analysis: This can provide data on the size and condition of pores, which is important for those concerned with acne and skin texture.

Wrinkle Analysis: It can measure the depth and severity of wrinkles, helping individuals and clinicians track the progression of aging signs.

Texture Analysis: This can evaluate skin texture, identifying issues like roughness, fine lines, and unevenness.

Spots and Pigmentation Analysis: The machine can identify areas of hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and freckles, which can be caused by sun exposure, aging, or other factors.

Redness and Vascular Analysis: We assess redness and vascular issues in the skin, such as broken capillaries, rosacea, and inflammation.

Skin Health Tracking: Over time, we can track changes in the skin's condition, making it a valuable tool for assessing the effectiveness of skincare treatments and products.

Customized Skincare Recommendations: Based on the analysis results, we can provide recommendations for skincare products and treatments tailored to an individual's specific skin concerns.
